That’s called visual tracking, and it’s one of the very first skills that connects what your baby sees to how their body moves.
Each time they follow an object from side to side, they’re building:
 ✅ Eye strength ✅ Neck and core muscles ✅ Coordination between their vision and movement
These are the same movement skills they’ll use for rolling, crawling, and walking.

Try this at home:

* Hold a colorful toy about 8–12 inches from your baby’s face
* Move it slowly from side to side
* Give them time to follow it with just their eyes and head
A few minutes of this playful activity each day can make a big difference in their development 💛

Turning and tracking like this can be especially helpful for babies who tend to look one way more often or are building neck strength — including those with torticollis.

This sweet girl is working through torticollis — a condition where tight neck muscles cause babies to tilt or turn their head to one side. It’s more common than you think, and early support makes a big difference.

Meet Tyler 👋 🚀

He came in for a two-week intensive and has already made incredible gains in his mobility and endurance. He walked a mile!

Through targeted gait training, TASES (Task Specific Electrical Stimulation), and open AFO (Ankle-Foot Orthosis) work, we focused on activating key muscle groups to help improve stride symmetry, core stability, and lower limb coordination.

Every session was built around neuromuscular re-education, and the progress speaks for itself 🧠⚡️👣

Tools like TASES and open AFOs allow us to guide the body into better alignment and function while still giving kids the opportunity to actively participate in their movement.

Watch Tyler’s transformation! Second-to-last clip shows him before treatment, and the final clip is just two weeks later after his intensive.
